OrgChart Builder is a tool for building org charts and hierarchies. This page explains what it stores, where that data goes, and who can see it.
Everything you enter — box names, titles, photos, notes, and (if you use the Pro features) contact details, certifications, and shift schedules — is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you turn on sync or a webhook yourself.
If you turn sync on, your charts are copied to a Supabase project that you create and own with your own account, not a server the app's author runs or controls. Signing in uses an emailed one-time code; rows are locked to your account with row-level security, so no one else's key can read them. The author of this app has no access to your Supabase project or the data in it.
Sync stores your email address (for sign-in) and your chart content. You can turn sync off at any time, and deleting your Supabase project or its data removes it completely — that's outside this app's control since it's your own infrastructure.
If you set a webhook URL, the app sends your chart as JSON to that URL whenever it changes. You control the URL and whatever receives it; the app's author never sees this traffic.
Box photos come from your device's photo picker; the app never gets broader access to your photo library than the picture you choose. The Call, Text, WhatsApp, and Email quick actions hand off to your phone's own apps (dialer, messages, mail) using the phone number or email you typed into a box — the app does not read your device's contacts.
Deleting a chart in the app removes it from local storage (and from your Supabase project on the next sync, if sync is on). Uninstalling the app, or clearing site data if you're using it in a browser, removes everything stored locally.
This app is a workplace and organization planning tool and is not directed at children.
